Deluded Film Poster
This is my finished poster, I am pleased with the final design I believe that it looks like a real media product and includes the codes and conventions of real media posters and therefore I believe that my poster is successful. When I received audience feedback previously they suggested that the billing block should be cut down and to cut down "in cinemas November 2018" to just "November 2018" with the changes I have made to the poster I am pleased with the finished design.

Deluded Film Cover
This is my finished magazine cover, overall I am pleased with how it turned out. I believe that it follows codes and conventions of real products and it represents the trailer of our film. Previously I had audience feedback which led me to change my design to this finished product. The audience suggested that the image should take up more of the page and also for it to be more central. They also suggested that the text took up the attention rather than the image and therefore I made the image larger and more central and cut out some text to make the page look more clear and crisp. I am happy with my final product.

Film Poster Progress
This was my first finished poster. I decided that the colours that I wanted to use on the poster was red and black due to this being eye catching for the audience. I followed codes and conventions of film posters by having the actors name at the top of the page and the title of the film being just below as I found this to be common. I also placed the tag line right next to the image and placed the billing block onto the page with the advertisement of the release date below with the social media promotions at the bottom of the poster.
Here I thought that the billing block would look better if I put it onto a black background so it stood out on the page. I also cut the image down to see if the poster generally looked better where you could see clearly the actors names and when the film was being released.
This is my final poster I have made the title of the film slightly smaller due to it taking up too much of the page. I have also changed my tag line and the position of my tag line to "can I see you?" and closer to Morgan's hand as this shows the resemblance of his hand and the mirror questioning if he can actually see the figure behind. I have also out a glow on the masked figure as it stands out more and puts emphasise on the character.
With audience feedback I decided that the actors name at the top of the page should stand out more on the page and the billing block should stand out more. I also needed to cut down "in cinemas November 2018" and replace it with "November 2018. I have also changed my tag line to "can you see me?" as it gives the poster a more enticing feel. Overall I am happy with my finished product.

Film Magazine Progress
In order for my film magazine to turn out the best it could I followed my draft as best as possible. To begin with I created my header and footer bars and imputed the text. I felt that white bold font looks best on a black background and the yellow of "best" makes it stand out on the page which will catch the audience's eyes. I then created my masthead which I had decided was going to be called "REELMAG" I decided to separate the reel and mag using red and black as I felt it suited it and looked good on the page. With the first steps of creating my magazine
I filled in all my sell lines varying the fonts and sizes to ensure that there was variety on the page and that it was still eye catching for the reader. I also added a barcode and price as this is a vital piece of detail that is needed to be on a magazine which ensures that it reflects a real product. I also placed the pug at the top right of the page in bold yellow as again it stand out on the page. I have also added a multi media platform of the website of the magazine.
Here I have added my main image to my magazine. I chose this image because it shows the main character Morgan looking depressed with the mask in his hand showing that there is some connections between the pair. I decided to edit the picture and make it black and white to show depression of the character and the darkness that the mask holds. I also decided to put the background of the magazine as grey as it blends in better than if it was harsh and white.
The final part of my magazine was that I had to add the film title to the page and I also added "Reel Exclusive" in red text on a black background as this stood out on the page and it shows that it is exclusive to this magazine only.
This is my final cover magazine. When I received audience feedback I realised that the colour of my magazine was very grey and therefore I needed to improve this. The audience also pointed out that the image should be more central to the page and should take up more of the page than what it does. They also said that the page was a bit wordy so I should cut down the amount of text on the page so that there is more focus on the image. I also changed the colour of the font of the sell lines to make them stand out more on the page. With these changes made I feel that my overall film magazine looks good as it follows the codes and conventions of real media products.

Audience Mood Board & Mental Health Research & Film Title
This is the audience mood board. Here are all the things that our target audience will enjoy doing/ aspire to do such as perhaps getting into a relationship, going to university, to go travelling. The target audience will also enjoy listening to music, going to theme parks, watching films, playing football, playing on the xbox, watching Netflix, attending music festivals, using their phones and going on social media. This is the film title that we will use on our trailer. I decided that out of all the ones I created this one was the best as it has the emphasis on the word "elude" as well as it looking different and eye catching due to the letters being alternative sizes.
Film title from Megan Powell
Film Classification And Psychological Thriller Genre Research

The age rating and what they mean are stated above in the picture.
Questionnaire for target audience
To make sure that our group trailer attracts our target audience we have created a questionnaire in order to find out more information to make sure we understand what our target audience would like to see in a film trailer.
These are the results from the target audience questionnaire.

Magazine Cover Drafts
For my first dratf of my magazine I chose the masthead "Release" as the magazine would contain all the new releases of films so I thought it worked well. I chose to do the masthead in red font as it stands out on the page and catches the reader's eye. I have included a header bar and footer bar as again the information there grabs the readers attention. I have included a pug to also appeal to the audience. I have include an issue number, price, barcode and date to follow the codes and conventions of a magazine. The main image of my magazine is of the main character within the film, although I feel now that it is not very eye catching and for my real magazine I will have a more interesting picture. I have also followed the codes and conventions of using sell lines on my magazine which reveal further of what other stories will be in the magazine. My splash includes the name of the film Deluded in bold letters to make it stand out on the page also. Overall I am happy with this draft of my magazine although I know there are changes needed to make it even better for my real magazine. Wednesday, 20 December 2017
Film Poster Drafts
This is the first draft of my film poster. After having feedback on it I realised I had put too much emphasis on the setting- trying to recreate bathroom titles. So for my next draft I knew this needed improving. I also realised that there needed to be a more interesting picture and not Morgan the main character and the imaginary friend in the mirror. I also had the feedback that the tag line should have been next to the character not on the other side of the poster. The feed back had also said that there should be more of a variety with the text fonts and styles.
This is my second draft of my poster. Here I have moved the title to the top of the page and I have changed the colour of the emphasis of "elude" to dark green as I did research and found that the colour of mental health awareness is green and therefore I changed it to that so there wa

s a link between the character in the film with the poster. I have also used the mirror across the whole of the page and I have made the character put his arm up as though he is touching his imaginary friend and a way of communicating. I have also changed the tag line so it fits more with my image and I have also moved it so it is closer to the character.
